연금특위 중단하고, 사회적 합의기구 설치 촉구 기자회견 (202310.20)

2023년 10월 20일 (수) 10시 국회정문 앞에서 공적연금강화 국민행동(PPA: Public Pension for All)은 " 국회연금특위 중단 및 사회적 합의기구 설치촉구'" 기자회견을 개최하였다. 이는 지난 9월 1일 제5차 재정개선 공청회에서 나타난 가입자의 소득대체율 상향이 배제된 기금 고갈을 막기위한 재정안정론에만 편향된 전문가들의 연금개혁 논의를 즉각 중단하고, 국회내 사회적 합이 기구를 구성하여 연금개혁을 위한 사회적 합이를 추진하여야 한다는 것이다.

비가오는 날이었음에도 불구하고 기자회견에 참석한 주명룡대표는 연금 개혁이 사회적 대타협을 이루기위해서는 노후소득 보장 및 세대간 분담굥유가 전제되어야한다고 주장하였다.

This comes in response to the biased discussions on pension reform by experts that focused solely on the fiscal stability argument to prevent fund depletion, as observed during the 5th Fiscal Improvement Public Hearing on September 1. The group called for an immediate halt to the pension reform discussions within the parliamentary pension subcommittee and urged the formation of a social consensus body within the National Assembly to drive pension reform. Despite the rainy weather, Representative Juch Myong-yong, who attended the press conference, emphasized that in order to achieve social consensus on pension reform, it is essential to ensure income security in retirement and inter-generational sharing.
