시니어연대단체 8.21 를 시니어데이로 !

에이지연합 (고용노동부 사단법인 , 주명룡 대표 )이 주관한 세계시티즌데이가 8.22 일 서울 윤봉길의사 기념관에서 개최됐다 .

세계시니어시티즌데이는 1988 년 로날드 레이건 미국 대통령이 매년 8 월 21 일을 제삼세대 (The Third Age)의 공헌을 인정하고 기념하기위해 제정된 시니어 날이다 .

이는 UN 의 국제노인의 날보다 3 년 앞서 제정됬다 .

국제적으로 506070+의 일반적 정서상 시니어 호칭은 50 대에서 70 대 장노년층을 의미한다 . 역동적으로 사회활동을 하는 세대는 나이와 관계없이 시니어로 통합 호칭 된다 .

세계시니어시티즌데이 한국선포기념위원회 주명룡 위원장은 “35 년전 레이건 대통령에 의해 제정된 세계시니어시티즌데이가 한국 상륙을 했다 . 극심한 노령화를 겪고 있는 한국사회에 나이에 관계없이 시니어세대가 다시 등장해 우리사회를 이끌어가자고 역설 ”했다 .

세계시니어시티즌데이 준비위원회는 매년 8 월 21 일을 축제의 날로

정하고 시니어세대가 이끄는 사회운동을 통해 한국 사회에 시니어 문화를 형성해 나가기로 선서했다 .

"Age Platform" Declares World Senior Citizens Day in Korea Senior Organizations Transforming August 21 into Senior Day on 8.21!

The " Age Platform" (led by Juch Myong-yong, representing the Ministry of Employment and Labor Corporation) organized the World Senior Citizens Day, which took place on August 22nd at the Yoon, Bong-gil Memorial Hall in Seoul.

World Senior Citizens Day was established by Ronald Reagan, the President of the United States, in 1988, to annually recognize and commemorate the contributions of the third age, observed on August 21st. This was established three years ahead of the UN's International Day of Older Persons.

Internationally, the term "senior" generally refers to the age group of 50 to 70, which encompasses the dynamic generation actively engaging in societal activities, regardless of their age. They are unified under the term "senior."

Juch Myong-yong, Chairman of the World Senior Citizens Day Korea Proclamation Commemoration Committee, stated, "The World Senior Citizens Day, established 35 years ago by President Reagan, has now landed in Korea. In a society facing severe aging, regardless of age, the senior generation is reappearing to lead our society."

The World Senior Citizens Day Preparatory Committee has pledged to designate August 21st as a festive day and to shape senior culture in Korean society through social movements led by the senior generation.
